Managing Larger Projects with Novell Vibe

In a previous segment, we looked at how Task folders can be used to manage small projects using Novell Vibe. This is great if you’ve got smaller teams working on projects which might not include a huge amount of tasks, resources, departments, etc.

However, there are times when this might not be enough. For example, several departments or teams might be involved with getting a project completed, where each has an important number of tasks to work on. The project managers also would like to get a high-level view of the progression of those tasks.

In this example, we’ll look at a Novell Vibe deployment project that involves setting up an IT infrastructure, reviewing HR policies and planning training for the users.

Again, please don’t hesitate to leave questions or comments below – we’d be more than happy to address them in future videos or articles.

  1. Hi.
I really like the two videos about managing projects in Novell Vibe OnPrem. I hope you will make more like tihs. I learned a lot.

I’m curious about which software you have used to make the videos. Normally I’m using Adobe Captivate for screen capture, but the way your videos are made are great – its really real-time.

    Regards
