SecureWinBox

SafeBoxes allows organizations to securely store password, certificate or file information in a central location. This eliminates the need to use Excel spreadsheets to store such information (even if they are password protected), as these normally display all passwords to all users who have access to the spreadsheet.

User access is synchronized from any LDAP source, such as eDirectory or Active Directory. Any access to all records in the SafeBox is audited, so you know exactly who accessed what information and when. Groups of passwords can be shared with specific people, which can eliminate the need to change all passwords when an administrator leaves the organization – it is very simple to determine which passwords any given user had access to.

Every user in the organization can create and share their own password repository; even administrators cannot view the password repositories they do not have access to.

Secure Workstations allows administrators to login locally to any workstation using a password that is generated dynamically on a daily basis. This prevents too many IT technicians from knowing the local administrator account that may have been used during preparation or imaging of the workstations.

When someone needs to login locally to a workstation, they simply access the Secure Workstations system and request a password for the workstation. The system logs who requested the password as well as the date and time. The workstations do not need to communicate with the SecureWinBox server so it is also an ideal solution for standalone or disconnected systems.

SecureWinBox can be installed on Windows or Linux, or can be deployed as a soft appliance on , Xen or Hyper-V.
