Zeus in the world: from ancient mythology to the present day

Zeus occupies a special place in ancient Greek mythology for a reason. In fact, he was the god of all gods and ruled the Earth, he ruled over thunder, lightning, and the whole world. He lived on the highest mountain in Greece called Olympus. He spread both good and evil on the earth, and also punished unfaithful people who succumbed to temptation by passions.

It was no accident that he became the main god of the world - from childhood he was assigned a special mission. His father, the titan Kronos, was very afraid of losing his divine power, so when he was predicted that his own son would deprive him of power, he decided to kill all his children. He decided to swallow every newborn born to his wife Rhea. Once Rhea was told that her son would be the ruler of the world, the god of all gods on Earth. Then she decided to save her child and instead of the little Zeus, she slipped her husband a stone wrapped in a handkerchief.

She fled with the baby to the island of Crete, where he grew up and gained strength in a cave. Nymphs watched over him and fed him goat's milk.

When Zeus grew up, he decided to take revenge on his father, the titan Kronos, by ripping open his stomach and releasing all his eaten brothers and sisters. Then came the great battle of the titans, which shook the whole world, and Zeus and his brothers won. Thus, having shown a great desire for power and a sense of sacred revenge, he became the main God - he ruled both in heaven and on Earth. Such a feat could not but remain in history. Today, as then, so now, Zeus has become the personification of courage, strength, and the will to win.

In today's world, Zeus is also widely revered around the world. Men see him as a role model - an image of strength and indestructibility. The image of a successful man who is so popular these days. For women, Zeus is a symbol of an ideal man who will never leave his family and loved ones in trouble.
